Bucket list fishing trip with Matt Watson up for grabs

Matt Watson New Zealand’s worldfamous extreme fisherman and Toyota’s Hilux ambassador will be attending the Hilux New Zealand Rural Games.

The Rural Games are held in The Square in Palmerston North on the 9th and 10th of March – the Games are New Zealand’s premier celebration of rural sports attracting more than 200 athletes from a diverse range of disciplines from both sides of the Tasman.

Matt hosts the TV Show Hook Me Up, where celebrities and everyday Kiwis go on their dream fishing expedition – from deep sea fishing through to crayfishing in Fiordland. In addition to spending 200 days a year game fishing he’s also a parttime fencer, a social media star and the star of his own TV show not to mention a strong advocate for marine conservation.

Andrew Davis, Toyota New Zealand’s General Manager of Marketing says New Zealand has a long tradition of iconic Kiwi adventurers.

“We’ve partnered with Matt and his team for a number of years and Matt’s adventures both on and off the water have placed him on the international stage,” says Mr Davis. “Matt will give anything a go so he is the perfect guy to show you what you can do in a Hilux!

By visiting the Toyota site you can meet Matt Watson as well as go in the draw to win a Matt Watsonhosted fishing trip in the Hauraki Gulf.
