2026 Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games & Palmy BID Voucher Prize Promotion – Terms and Conditions
Promotion Overview
The 2026 Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games Voucher Prize Promotion (“Promotion”) is managed by NZ Rural Games Trust (“NZRG”) and funded/supported by Palmerston North Business Improvement District (“Palmy BID”). The Promotion offers attendees who register on the Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games App the opportunity to win vouchers that may be redeemed at a range of participating Palmerston North city centre businesses.
Eligible Participants Open to: Everyone who registers on the NZRG App or
Under 12-year-old participants in the Have a Go activities who complete a booklet of Have A Go stamps and submit their booklet as below
Except for:
Employees of NZRG, Palmy BID, WotsonWhere, participating businesses, and their immediate families.
Management and board members of Palmy BID and the NZRG Trust.
How to Enter For a chance to win
Grand Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize or General Voucher prizes: Register for the NZRG App – accessible from the QR codes on NZRG posters, flyer, signage, website and advertising
Kids’ “Have A Go” Prizes: Complete a booklet of Have A Go activity stamps and submit it at the Inspire Net Information Tent during the 2026 NZ Rural Games event. Please note: Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise specified.
Prize Structure
$1,000* Grand Prize – comprising a great range of $50 and $100 retail vouchers
$600* Second Prize – comprising a great range of $50 and $100 retail vouchers
$400* Third Prize – made up with a great range of $50 and $100 retail vouchers
$2,000* in General Vouchers – 20 draws in the leadup and during the 2026 NZ Rural Games – distributed as $100 retail vouchers
$1,000* in Kids’ Vouchers – 40 draws during the 2026 Ford Ranger NZ Rural Games – distributed as $25 vouchers as part of “Have A Go” prize packs. All vouchers are subject to the issuing business’s own terms and conditions and may not be redeemed for cash
Winner Selection & Notification
Winners will be randomly digitally drawn via the NZ Rural Games App (managed by WhatsonWhere** on behalf of NZRG) or manually at random by NZRG management from completed kids’ ‘Have a Go’ activity booklets.
App Draws: An automated digital system will randomly select five (5) potential winners per prize draw from eligible entries. Contact details will be provided to the NZRG coordinator, who will attempt to contact each winner by phone in the order selected until a winner is confirmed. The first successfully contacted entrant will be awarded the prize. Unsuccessful potential winners will not receive prizes.
Draw Period: Winners may be drawn any time from Sunday 8th March 2026 through to the end of the 2026 event.
Collection Deadline: Winners must collect vouchers from the Inspire Net Information Tent on either the 14th or 15th of March 2026, up until 2:00 PM on Sunday 15th March.
Re-draws: Unclaimed vouchers will be re-drawn at 2:30 PM Sunday. New winners will be notified and must collect by 4:00 PM Sunday.
Grand Prize, Second and Third Prize: Winners of the $1,000* and $600* and $400* vouchers will be announced on Saturday 14th March at 2:00 PM.
General Voucher and Kids Voucher: Winners may be drawn from Sunday 8 March through till 2pm on Sunday 15th March.
Prizes must be collected in person from the Inspire Net Information Tent by 2:00 PM on Sunday 15th March. Winners agree to be available for interview and photograph for promotional purposes. If a winner does not collect by the deadline, the prize may be forfeited and re-drawn.
Exceptional Circumstances: If a winner is unable to collect in person due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency), they must contact NZRG by 12:00 PM Sunday to arrange alternative collection.
Unclaimed Prizes: Any unclaimed vouchers after 4:00 PM Sunday may be used as prizes for the NZ Rural Games post-event survey.
Voucher Terms
Vouchers are issued by individual businesses and are subject to that business’s own terms & conditions.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, alcohol or R18 products.
Vouchers are valid until the date specified by the issuing business.
NZRG, Palmy BID and WotsonWhere are not responsible for voucher redemption, validity, or fulfilment.
Privacy & Publicity
By entering, Grand Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize winners’ consent to the
use of their name, image, and interview content for promotional purposes by NZRG or Palmy BID, including sharing on social media.
By entering, all other prize winners’ consent to the use of their name and image for promotional purposes by NZRG and Palmy BID, if either party chooses to do so.
Personal information will be collected and used in accordance with the NZRG Privacy Policy.
General Conditions
NZRG and Palmy BID reserve the right to amend these terms or cancel the Promotion at any time.
Decisions regarding winner selection and prize allocation are final.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding prize outcomes.
This Promotion is subject to all applicable New Zealand laws and regulations.
