Winter Break in Queenstown Competition Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions of Entry

1. The competition runs from Saturday 15th February until Sunday 9th March.
2. You can only enter the competition once a day per mobile phone.
3. The winner must have proof of purchase (in the form of a receipt or bank transaction) from participating stores that corresponds to the date and time of the winning entry.
4. The winner must be available to travel from 1- 4th August 2025.
5. The Prize cannot be transferred or exchanged.
6. The winner must be over 18 years of age.
7. The winners must agree to their images and experience being recorded & promoted by any business or organisation associated with the prize package.
8. The prize will be randomly drawn, and More FM will ring the winner on Monday 11 March 2025 and the recording will be played on air the following day.
9. The prize will be re-drawn if the initial winner does produce evidence of purchase from a participating store within 8 hours.
10. The prize will be re-drawn if the initial winner cannot accept all of the Terms and conditions of the prize.

Prize terms and conditions

11. The prize is a trip for two people to Queenstown from Palmerston North for Friday, 1st August, returning on Monday 4 August 2025.
12. The prize is valued at $5,000 and is not redeemable for cash, and dates cannot be changed. The names of the people traveling must be provided to helloworld Travel Palmerston North by 11th April 2025. Names cannot be changed once booked. Booking will be subject to airline, hotel or other activity booking conditions as at time of booking.
13. If flights are delayed due to bad weather, all parties will work towards a new date for a holiday.
14. The following are included in the prize: Rental of a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV Auto (or similar), a lake-view room in the Copthorne Hotel (including breakfast) and Resort Queenstown Lakefront from 1st August and checkout is 4th August, a site-seeing trip on the TSS Earnslaw, a visit to Walter Peak Farm, Shotover Jetboat ride and two free cocktails plus entry to the Minus 5 Ice Bar. The prize is subject to change to a similar product should the stated prize is not available on the day.
15. The prize is being funded by the Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games, Palmy Bid and helloworld Travel Palmerston North, in association with Media Works.
16. To enter, you must make a $20 purchase at a participating business in Palmerston North CBD between Saturday 15th February until Sunday 9th March.
17. More FM will contact the winner and record the conversation, and will then share the interview on air on Monday, 10th March, at 7:45 am, if all criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions are met.
18. A photo of the winner will be taken at helloworld Travel Palmerston North.
19. By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The competition is subject to New Zealand law.
20. The promoter (Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games and PalmyBid), MoreFM and helloworld Travel Palmerston North and Wotsonwhere.com, along with their officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates, shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen property or for any personal injury or damage to property that may occur during the trip.
21. The promoters, helloworld Travel Palmerston North, Wotsonwhere and More FM make no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, with respect to the prize or the trip and shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense that may arise from or in connection with the prize or the trip.
22. The winner is responsible for insurance and any fees, or other expenses associated with the prize.
23. The winner must sign a release and indemnity form before accepting the prize, which would protect the promoters, helloworld Travel Palmerston North, Wotsonwhere and Media Works from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the winner’s acceptance and use of the prize.
24. The promoters reserve the right to modify or cancel the competition without prior notice. The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered.
