Hāhā Wines to mark the 10th Edition of the Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games

2025 marks the 10th edition of the Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games, and to celebrate, the legendary team from Hāhā Wine Company will add a Rural Games 10th edition medal to their range.

Hāhā Wine Company General Manager Daniel Nelson said it’s fantastic to join the New Zealand Rural Games team, which has been preserving and celebrating the sports that built our nation for over a decade.

“The team has dedicated their time to ensuring rural sports are here to stay for the next generation and to provide rural sporting athletes with a platform to showcase their talent to the world,” Nelson said.

New Zealand Rural Games founder Steve Hollander said the team from Hāhā source their grapes from both the North and South Islands and produce one of the New Zealand’s leading wines.

“Our athlete’s come from around the country as well, so it’s great to have them on board, helping us to mark this auspicious occasion.”

Both Hāhā Wines and the New Zealand Rural Games Trust were established in the same year, back in 2011. “It took a couple of years to get the Games out of the planning stages and into the market, however we’ve been going strong ever since thanks to the support of our sponsors and the support of the Palmerston North and Manawatū district,” said Steve.

Hāhā Wine will also support the Ford New Zealand Rural Sports Awards, held on Friday 7th, March 2025, at Awapuni Racecourse.

Expect to see the Rural Games 10th edition medal on bottles from Spring.

The New Zealand Rural Games team is planning further 10th Edition activations and will announce them prior to the 10th edition, which will be held from March 7th to 9th, 2025, in The Square in Palmerston North.
