Palmy BID’s Matthew Jeanes said the competition promises an action-packed trip to the heart of New Zealand’s adventure capital.
“It’s a great reason to come and shop or dine in Palmy’s CBD in the leadup to and during the Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games.”
Ford Ranger New Zealand Rural Games Marketing Manager Daniel O’Regan said the prize has been put together as a bit of a celebration.
“The first NZ Rural Games was in Queenstown and this year we’re celebrating our 10th edition of the Games!”
Prize Details: The prize is a trip for two from Palmerston North to Queenstown, departing on Friday, 1st August 2025 and returning on Monday 4th of August 2025.
The prize includes a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV Auto (or similar) rental vehicle, a lake-view room in the Copthorne Hotel and Resort Queenstown Lakefront, including breakfast, from 1st August and checkout is 4th August, a site-seeing trip on the TSS Earnslaw, a visit to Walter Peak Farm, Shotover Jetboat ride and two free cocktails plus entry to the Minus 5 Ice Bar.
How to Enter: Entering is a breeze – simply follow these steps:
- Shop: Spend $20 at participating stores in Palmy’s CBD. Hold onto your receipt!
- Scan: Use the in-store QR code (on our flyer) to enter the competition to register on the Rural Games App developed by Wotsonwhere.
Terms & Conditions of Entry: Before you set your sights on Queenstown, here are the key details:
- The competition runs from Saturday, 15th of February, to Sunday, March 9th, 2025.
- You must provide proof of purchase (receipt or bank transaction) from participating stores.
- One entry per day per mobile phone.
- Be available for travel on 1-4 August 2025.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Winners’ images and experiences may be recorded and promoted by associated businesses or organisations.
- If the initial winner cannot meet the Terms and Conditions or misses More FM’s call on Monday 11th March, then a redraw will occur.
