Fonterra’s NZ Speed Milking Championship

Something of a lost art, the New Zealand Speed Milking Championship is a reminder of how it used to be done.

This is your chance to ‘grab a handful’ and give it a go with open sessions on Saturday and Sunday from 10am till 4pm by the Fonterra Chill-Out Zone.

Competitors of all ages milk against the clock for the overall title and, to make sure it’s an even milking parlour, we’re using a high-tech substitutes for real cows!

The New Zealand Speed Milking Championship is on at 10am-4pm on Saturday and 12pm – 3:00pm on Sunday.
