Cow Pat Throw Championships – Sunday | Te Tātāwhāinga Maka Hamuti Kau
360 Workwear Bill Tapley Memorial Cowpat Tossing – in association with the Manawatu branch of Federated Farmers of New Zealand.
This is your chance to get your hands dirty and have a go at this classic Kiwi sport.
Sessions take place on the hour from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, each lasting 30 minutes followed by a 30 minute break to clean up and recharge.
The event is named after the late Bill Tapley, a Queenstown tourism entrepreneur and farmer who started the Cowpat Tossing Championships in the 1970s.
Rest assured, we only use the finest local cowpats – thanks to Federated Farmers!
